Something Different

◊ Notice anything different? I got rid of that annoying navbar at the top of my page. I don't know why the idea had never crossed my mind before, but I just randomly decided to see if there are any fan sites dedicated to Blogger, Google's blog service that I use for this. Obviously there are and many have helpful customization tips. Personally what annoys me most about this service is that the horizontal space where the entries go is so darn narrow. They do this so lower-resolution users can view the page without having to scroll sideways. I say, if you are not running at at least 1024x769, then you are just out of luck. I guess this rant is all a moot point anyways. My mom has been printing out each and every entry so she has a hard copy. If I were to change the format now, it would mess up her book which I hear has grown quite large. Mostly because the narrow formatting applies to printers as well.

  • Actually, I don't know. That thing has been up there so long It just kind of seems wrong without it. Hmmm... decisions, decisions.
