Enrollment For Next Semester

◊ I enrolled for classes at 14:00 today, or 7:00am Kansas time. The classes I will be subjecting myself to are:
EECE 511 Circuit Theory II
CHE 530 Electronic Materials
CE 530 Statics & Dynamics
EECE 525 Electronics
I will also need to take a couple of humanities and/or social sciences. Being here frees me from the GenEd requirement which, FYI, is a very stupid policy designed to funnel most students into a selected few classes. Outwardly this appears to be a cost-saving measure on the part of the University. Personally I think that it exists for the administration to maliciously make our lives as difficult and unenjoyable as possible. Due to my exception, I can take classes from anywhere in the university. I began by making a list of classes that sounded interesting. I first eliminated ones that weren't offered. Next I eliminated the ones that conflicted with the schedule of my core classes. Lastly I got rid of the ones that were offered any semester to end up with my final two. Sure enough my geeky side showed though despite my systematic selection process. The two were
HIST 546 American Military Affairs
ENGL 445 Science Fiction
Meh. Denying the truth about my nerdiness would not change the fact. I might as well be proud of my powerful subconscious.
