What I Have I Been Up To?

◊ I apologize that this is my first post in a while. I guess I just have not been in the writing mood. Friday I went to visit the Vysehrad, Prague's other castle. I think it is immensly cooler, but that is just my opinion. I spent hours up there, just walking along the fortifications. Many of the best shots that I took that day were taken from places I was not supposed to be. I climbed a few walls, jumped a few rails, and edged out onto a few sheer cliff faces. It was fun and stupidly dangerous. The two go hand-in-hand after all. Good luck guessing which ones they are. Enjoy.

The approach to the rear gate. The subway I took to get there actually runs just below the roadway on that bridge.

There are millions of these stones that make up the sidewalks and streets of Prague. I guess SOMEBODY had to lay them. And relay them. And relay them again.

Koci, I have yet to see a grave with the name 'Weissman' on it. Sorry dude, that is a German name and I am in the wrong region. However, I think this one is a Czech last name that I think means the same thing.

The grave of Anton Dvorak. If I have to expalin to you who he is, then you probably don't care.

Dispite all of the places I went that I was not supposed to, these people had me trumped. I plan on having a picnic there someday. I cannot imagine a more scenic place to have one in the entire city.

  • Went back there and climbed down the cliff into the ruins that can be see over the road in the last couple of pictures. Wow. All I can say is wow. It makes the risk of falling to my death seem worth it.
