A Good Friend Lost

◊ I realized early today that I had left my KTA hat in the student club last night. I did not think this was a big deal because I had left other things down there over night and the next night the bartender always had them ready to be claimed. There is only one problem in this case: Tonight the club is closed and I leave tomorrow morning. I fear that I will never see my hat again. It drives me nuts; I wore that thing all over Europe and did not loose it. It has seen more countries that most people. I couldn't hang on to it for just one more day, could I? Well, there is one small chance that I could get it back. There is one group of Americans that have not left for home yet and are still out traveling. Michel, for example. Maybe one of them could find the kindness in their hearts to return it to me next semester. Then again, maybe not. I am so depressed about going home and now this. What next?

  • Track down security. Sounds like an emergency to me.

  • It is. I am not joking about this. I hope someone is willing to bring it back to me because I am very attacheed to that hat, even if I have bought several others on my trip. That one remains my favorite.
