In-House Fun

◊ Here is a picture from Lira's birthday party. Don't ask me why it was held in our room. It probably had something to do with my music collection, and The Russian's lack of a computer.

From left to right: Eric The German, Michelle (Sara's room mate), Sara, David, Lena, Lira, some guy Lena has been all over for the last week. I am pretty sure that is a new record for her here.

◊ All Russians I have met here love to brag about how their county or people have or do the best... whatever. I think they are llying or misinformed most of the time. However I have decided that their claim to the best vodka in the world is no idle boast. A bottle was mailed to them from home, and so we all helped them drink it. It really was as good as they have been telling me for the last three months. One bottle goes very fast when shared between eight people. It makes me sad to know that I can't afford any alcohol back home. That is probably for the best, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it.
