False Start... Again

◊ So I tried to go to class again today. I am not suceeding as of yet. I had one classe's lab, lecture, and resitation. I had one heck of a time finding the lab room; it took me almost an hour. By the time I had found the room I was so late that I just decided to go to the next lab, seeing how I am not actually enrolled in a specific class. At that lab, I made a rather disturbing discovery: all of the other students were Czech-speakers. I asked the prof and informed me that the are supposedly 7 students requesting his class in English. He would be more than willing to set up special class periods to accomadate us, but so far I am the only one to have contacted him and he has no idea who the others are. Wonderful. Maybe I'll be starting class tomorrow.

◊ In other news, I finally got my food stipend. 7500Kc in cash. Wowzers. That is not a small sum, especially considering how little the food costs here and that I only eat two meals each day at most. I also found out that it is only the K-Staters that recieve this, and it is to make up for the fact that we are paying for the meals of our Czech counterparts. Getting the money was probably the easiest thing I have done since arriving here. Nothing is ever easy to get done in this place. The only problem I had was that one of the bills I was given was a 5000Kc note. I have trouble getting stores to break 1000Kc notes. It is a very good thing that I have drawers that lock.
