Beer Really Is Cheaper Than Water

◊ This place really is dirt cheap to live in... if you only buy certain things. Beer is dirt cheap. There is no bad beer here and they serve it in very large ammounts. Rock and roll. Soda is insanely expensive. At a resturant my roommate ordered a coke and it cost him 40Kc. His girlfriend ordered a beer and it only cost 13Kc. (The exchange rate right now is about 22Kc to 1$) Water is somewhere in between. Also, for some reason, water comes in carbonated, lightly carbonated, and uncarbonated if you are lucky enough to find it. I went out and bought a towel, and that was very expensive, but yet public transportation is so cheap it might as well be free. I paid 590Kc for a 90 day unlimited pass for bus, tram, and metro.
